چکیده

We review the current state of knowledge of dynamic critical phenomena in simple magnetic models and present high statistics Monte Carlo data for critical slowing down in Ising and Potts models in two and three dimensions. By fitting the relaxation functions to multi-exponential decays at the critical temperature and applying finite size scaling we are able to extract very accurate estimates for the dynamical critical exponent t. Our results are compared with previous numerical estimates and with the predictions of renormalization group theory.

Application of Monte Carlo Simulation in the Assessment of European Call Options

In this paper, the pricing of a European call option on the underlying asset is performed by using a Monte Carlo method, one of the powerful simulation methods, where the price development of the asset is simulated and value of the claim is computed in terms of an expected value. The proposed approach, applied in Monte Carlo simulation, is based on the Black-Scholes equation which generally def...

Investigation of Monte Carlo, Molecular Dynamic and Langevin dynamic simulation methods for Albumin- Methanol system and Albumin-Water system

Serum Albumin is the most aboundant protein in blood plasma. Its two major roles aremaintaining osmotic pressure and depositing and transporting compounds. In this paper,Albumin-methanol solution simulation is carried out by three techniques including MonteCarlo (MC), Molecular Dynamic (MD) and Langevin Dynamic (LD) simulations. Byinvestigating energy changes by time and temperature (between 27...

Dynamic Phase Transition and Hysteresis in Kinetic Ising Models

We briefly introduce hysteresis in spatially extended systems and the dynamic phase transition observed as the frequency of the oscillating field increases beyond a critical value. Hysteresis and the decay of metastable phases are closely related phenomena, and a dynamic phase transition can occur only for field amplitudes, temperatures, and system sizes at which the metastable phase decays thr...

Deterministic Equations of Motion and Dynamic Critical Phenomena

Taking the two-dimensional φ4 theory as an example, we numerically solve the deterministic equations of motion with random initial states. Short-time behavior of the solutions is systematically investigated. Assuming that the solutions generate a microcanonical ensemble of the system, we demonstrate that the second order phase transition point can be determined already from the short-time dynam...
